What’s old is new again. Adam and Cindy as you probably know, American blogs are full of people gardening and preserving. It’s absolutely of the moment. We just need to jerk our mental set a moment and realise that all those rural ladies weren’t hopelessly retrograde,
And as Cindy reminds me, there is the famous Women’s Institute Calendar. Never endorsed by the central organization because it really is eye opening.
And perhaps that leads us back to the origins of the movement, the sheer necessity of some group to cut the horrendous isolation of pi0neer women.
