Rachel Laudan

American Association of Wine Economists

Here’s a call for papers from an interesting group.  I’m not a wine person (well, to drink but the history is a whole specialty unto itself) but I find many of their articles and working papers enlightening.  And now they are starting a food group too.  Well worth a look even if you have no hope of going to Reims!
Dear AAWE members, dear wine friends:

The American Association of Wine Economists (AAWE) and its food division, the Association of Food Economists (AFE) will hold their 3rd Annual Meeting
from June 18-20, 2009, in Reims, Champagne (France). Details will be posted at www.wine-economics.org

For paper considerations, please submit a 500-word abstract by March 1, 2009, to jwe@whitman.edu.

Best,
Karl
