Like 99% of the blog-following population, I learn a lot from Marginal Revolution. But it’s not economics we’re talking about here. It’s a couple of links from Tyler Cowen that I loved.
1. Unforgettable sentence from Ezra Klein of the Washington Post.
“Foodies have an unfortunate tendency to alight on a Unified Field Theory of Corporate Food: It’s bad for the environment and bad for workers and bad for animals and bad for waistlines and, above all that, a fraud, because it also tastes bad.” See his article on the Cheesecake Factory
2. For anglophiles and detectophiles, the classic English detective story writer (and scholar) Dorothy Sayers cuts the mustard.
