The Cuisine of Chihuahua

Published June 18, 2008 by Rachel Laudan

OK, so just forget for a moment that everyone tells you that to get Mexican cuisine you need to go to Oaxaca.

Here is a terrific program on the cuisine of Mexico’s northern frontier organized by the State of Chihuahua.  A very nice mix of well known scholars and regional specialists, of tastings and lectures. It’s this weekend so hurry if you are interested.

By the by, please, Mexican colleagues, please realize that PowerPoint is not the magic bullet that eases all communications.

Thanks to Cristina Palacio for the hint (and she had nothing to do with the PowerPoint).
