The Madrid foodbook store, Aliana Gastronomia, is wonderful for keeping in touch. Here’s their web page. http://www.alianagastronomia.com/

OK there are the usual ditsy cookbooks, but there are also the groundbreaking cookbooks and journals and food history. You can subscribe to their monthly newsletter. Or if you are lucky enough to be in Madrid, you can go to their bookstore.
