I’m glad that you made the dish, interesting to see how similar it is in basics to a mole. I also came across a recipe collected by Elisabeth Laurd in Cadiz for “Pavo en Pepitoria”. No chocolate, but it is another Spanish nut sauce with spice (saffron, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, pepper).
